Hi, I’m Coach Dave, head coach of the Reno High School girls lacrosse teams. This summer, I’m launching a new Athlete Development Camp for current and future Reno boy/girl lacrosse players. Our first session will be a one-week pilot beginning June 16th depending heavily on the amount of athletes that pre-register. Payment is not required to pre-register. Depending on numbers, we may open slots to the league.
This is not your typical lacrosse camp. We’ve partnered with Athletic Republic to deliver advanced neuromuscular training that develops speed, strength, agility, and confidence while reducing injury risk. Our goal is to teach young athletes not just how to play — but how to train like athletes, using science-based methods that build coordination, balance, and athletic intelligence. INJURY PREVENTION IS PARAMOUNT.
As a former Division I athlete and U.S. Navy SEAL, I’ve learned that success also demands mental toughness. That’s why we’ve integrated Sharpen Skills Training, which gives athletes the tools to develop emotional control and master the mental side of peak performance.
Flexx Nutrition will provide expert guidance on sports nutrition — including fueling for competition, nutrient timing, hydration, and electrolyte replenishment — to support full-body performance and recovery.
Finally, experienced coaches—alongside current and former collegiate women’s lacrosse players—will guide campers in sharpening their individual skills, building team dynamics, and elevating their overall lacrosse IQ.
This camp is designed to build the complete lacrosse athlete — mind, body, and spirit.
